Miss O'Dell
Miss O’Dell
By Helen Marketti
To be part of an inner rock and roll
circle where trust was earned, not just given was a place that Chris O’Dell
found herself in during the late 60s. If
Chris had not taken the leap of faith to move from Tucson to LA and embark on a
new way of life - certainly things would have turned out completely different.

Travels With Bubba & Bonnie
Travels with Bubba and Bonnie
It was one of those beautiful sunny days
that hints spring will soon be here. I had a wild idea to replay a bit of my
youth and feed the swans, geese, and ducks at the Castalia duck pond. First
stop was the Gries Seed Farm Drive through for a bit of shelled corn. (Grandpa
always said Gries Seed Farm had the best shell corn in the area).

Combining a love of rock and roll, travel
and The Beatles have been just the right ingredients for Trina Yannicos.
“I grew up on the East Coast, in Maryland,
right outside of Washington D.C. I
attended college in Baltimore and studied graphic design,” said Trina. “I also took piano and guitar lessons when I
was younger.”

The CoCoBeanos!
The CoCoBeanos!
By Helen Marketti
What first began as a small group of
friends who shared a love for music eventually evolved into a rockin’ band with
a large, solid fan base. Local area
band, The CoCoBeanos whose current line up is Scott Gast (vocals, guitar),
Bryan Gast (bass guitar), Josh Post (lead guitar), Brian Runkle (drums, vocals)
and Dylan Kendrick (audio engineer) have been packing the house at area clubs
and events. Their hard work, talent and
determination have now branched out to performances in Cleveland, Columbus and other areas.

Art Work that Rocks!
Art Work that Rocks!

“I knew what I wanted to do from day
one. As a kid, I did a lot of cartooning
and drawing hot rods. One of my favorite
things to draw was Mad Magazine.
I was fortunate enough to know then what I wanted to do with my life,”
said Bob.
Bob Masse is one of the well-known concert
poster and album cover artists from the late 60s generation. His artwork has graced the walls of The
Fillmore, the Avalon Ballroom and The Whiskey a Go Go. He has created his signature poster look for
Janis Joplin, The Who, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, The Doors and
many others.
