      Jim Morrison was known as the front man of The Doors whose reputation was that of being a mysterious rebel who went against the grain of what was proper and considered normal.  When someone like him stretches "out of the box" society is often quick to judge and label so "they" can feel comfortable from that which is different. The Doors were a band that responded to society's turmoil and unrest which was as unpredictable as rock and roll itself.

     The sinister grin of "The Buzzard" peering over billboards, splashed on t-shirts and painted on walls of buildings served as the rock and roll mascot for WMMS radio station in Cleveland, Ohio.  Creative energy, ambition and unique approaches to entice a loyal listening audience is what made WMMS the most popular rock and roll radio station in the country.

     To the outside world it appeared to be an ideal life style that many could only dream of.  Pattie Boyd had married George Harrison during the height of Beatlemania (1966).  In the beginning their time together was a combination of sweet closeness and young innocence.  As time went on, however, their relationship became shredded and torn as emotions were neglected and mistrust took hold.
